KHCC, AI training in healthcare
Trainers for ASL staff across Italy: what AI is in healthcare, what it does well, where it fails and its limits. Training platform built by us.
The challenge
The KHCC project had to train Italian public-health (ASL) staff on AI in healthcare: materials, slides and recordings were scattered across channels, and the concepts required active practice, not just reading. It needed one place to study, and someone to explain in class what AI does well, where it fails and what its limits are.
The solution
We built the study platform from scratch and, underneath it, the system that holds it up: class timetables, online classrooms, modules, study material and support tickets, with automations that take the repetitive work off the teaching office. On top we put Kate, the AI assistant trained on the materials, with local inference, and a simulator mode to practise clinical scenarios. The same course travels in an app too, Kate included. And we took the stage: lessons for ASL staff across Italy.

The result
across Italy trained by us, on a platform built by us, with an AI assistant that studies alongside them.
